  • Project managing waste procurement contracts (collection, transfer stations)
  • Advising clients on the circular economy
  • Searching and finding potential projects and key customers contacts
  • Advising clients on the sale and purchase of industrial land (real estate)
  • Preparing business cases for infrastructure and services
  • Provides part-time CEO and GM services

Natasha Alford: Policy, Regulation and Governance

Natasha is the Director of Eveity and associate of Harbak. She holds undergraduate qualifications in Law and Science, and postgraduate qualifications in Sustainable Business and Sustainability Leadership. Her Masters dissertation and research papers focus on waste & circular economy across Australia and the Pacific region.

Natasha assists clients by:

  • Conducting analysis plans to identify waste challenges utilising qualitative, quantitative and legal research methodologies.
  • Developing strategic action plans and stakeholder engagement strategies to address waste challenges.
  • Evidence-based fit-for-future waste and circular economy policy and regulation.
  • Governance frameworks, systems and processes.
  • Feasibility studies and site options analysis.
  • Statutory approvals, including environmental impact assessment, auditing, compliance and reporting.

Neil Perry: Project Management Services

Neil is an executive manager and leader of high performing teams and projects specialising in the waste management and resource recovery sectors. He is a former President of the Waste and Recycling Industry Association of Queensland, has a Bachelor in Business Studies and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He assists clients by:

  • Providing Tender, Expression of Interest, Request for Proposal and Application expertise and advisory services
  • Providing project planning and management services including the implementation and integration of new contracts, new ventures, mergers and acquisition
  • Providing business review, planning and strategy development services
  • Undertaking due diligence and contract negotiations
  • Planning and managing key stakeholder relationships

Neil is Brisbane Based.

Craig Lawrence: Economist

Craig is the owner of Lytton Advisory and a key associate of Harbak. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Economics, Finance and Management.

He assists clients by:

  • Providing economic and financial analysis on infrastructure and transport projects
  • Developing full cost pricing appraisals
  • Drafting Strategic business analysis.
  • Creating a financial and economic model that is easy to explain and even easier to use
  • Providing capital and operational advice on infrastructure projects
  • Explaining the results in a clear and concise way to allow you to understand the implications and opportunities of the results

Peter Mitchell: Commercial Advisor

Peter has qualifications in Accounting and Business. Peter is a highly experienced and qualified commercial advisor in terms of accounting, business strategy, commercial contracts and finance.

Peter assists clients by:

  • Providing detailed commercial advice in terms of capital and operational financial management for both infrastructure and services
  • Advising clients on key commercial matters as well as identifying key strategic risks to projects
  • Providing contracting and part-time CFO services
  • Examination of financial reports and identifying key risks to businesses

Neil Olsson: Waste Professional

Neil is a highly experienced waste management professional having managed many waste facilities in both the private and public sector. He has an acute knowledge of what works and what does not in recycling.

Neil advises clients in the following:

  • Detailed operational and financial analysis of recycling options including plastic, green waste, composting, construction and demolition waste as well as other waste streams
  • Practical advice regarding waste to energy options
  • Operational advice regarding landfilling options and profile management
  • Development of waste strategies that involve both infrastructure and services

Neil is Newcastle based.

Leo Jensen: Advisor (Planning and Environmental)

Leo is the owner of Leo Jensen Consulting and a key associate of Harbak. He holds qualifications in Urban & Regional Planning; Master of Science (Environmental Management) & Cert. IV Training & Assessment.  He is a Registered Planner and a Fellow of the Planning Institute Australia.

He assists clients by:

  • Providing independent and confidential advisory services to both the public & private sectors across diverse operational portfolios;
  • Providing town planning advice to proponents and facilitating relationships between proponents & assessment agencies;
  • Undertaking independent peer reviews of projects, proposals, regulations and strategies
  • Undertaking Research, Investigation & Compliance Audits
  • Facilitation & Consultation Services

Whilst Brisbane based, Leo regularly undertakes engagements in rural & regional Queensland, in particular assisting the local government sector.
